Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern access to and use of the CitiFex platform (the "Platform"), available through the website and its related services.

CitiFex is a marketplace and social network connecting service providers with users looking for those services. By creating an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Platform.

2. Definitions

• User: any person holding an account on the Platform.
• Provider: a User offering services, products or listings through their profile.
• Platform: the CitiFex website, applications and services.
• Content: any text, image, video, review or other item published by a User.
• Account: the personal space giving access to the Platform's features.

3. Registration and account

Registration requires a valid email address or the use of a third-party authentication provider (for example Google). You must be at least 18 years old, or have reached the age of majority in your country of residence.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are solely responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out from your account. If you notice any unauthorised use, you must inform us without delay.

4. Use of the Platform

The Platform notably lets you create a profile, publish services, products, needs and job offers, exchange messages, and leave reviews and recommendations.

You agree to use the Platform in line with its purpose, these Terms and applicable law. CitiFex reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue all or part of the features at any time.

5. Conduct and prohibited content

When using the Platform, you agree not to: - publish illegal, misleading, defamatory or hateful content, or content that infringes the rights of others; - impersonate any third party or provide false information; - harass, threaten or harm other Users; - send unsolicited messages, spam or abusive advertising; - circumvent security measures or disrupt the operation of the Platform.

You are solely responsible for the Content you publish and for the consequences of sharing it.

6. Moderation and sanctions

Published content may be moderated, either before or after it goes live. CitiFex may remove any Content that breaches these Terms or the law.

In the event of a breach, CitiFex may, depending on its severity, issue a warning, restrict access to certain features, temporarily suspend or permanently terminate the account concerned. Such measures may be taken without notice where the safety of the community requires it.

7. Intellectual property

You retain your rights to the Content you publish. By publishing it, you grant CitiFex a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that Content as part of operating and promoting the Platform.

The CitiFex name, logo, interface and the elements that make it up are protected. Any unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.

8. Liability

CitiFex is a technical intermediary that connects people. The Platform does not handle payments and is not a party to any agreement, transaction or exchange entered into between Users. Providers are solely responsible for the services and products they offer.

The Platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, CitiFex cannot be held liable for damage arising from relationships between Users, from service unavailability or from Content published by third parties. It is up to you to take the necessary precautions before committing to any other User.

9. Personal data

The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. We encourage you to read it.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time and request the deletion of your account. CitiFex may suspend or terminate your account in the event of a breach of these Terms.

Termination does not affect provisions that, by their nature, must survive the end of the relationship, in particular intellectual property and liability.

11. Changes to the Terms

CitiFex may amend these Terms to reflect changes to the Platform or to regulations. In the event of a significant change, Users will be informed by an appropriate means. Continuing to use the Platform after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law applicable at the place of establishment of the Platform's publisher, which will be specified in the final version of this document.

In the event of a dispute, the parties will seek an amicable resolution before any legal action. Failing agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent court.
